XitNotes - Overview
Convert Lotus Notes to Outlook or Exchange
XitNotes converts single or multiple Lotus Notes mailboxes and address books to Outlook or
Exchange. It exports mail, calendar, tasks, contacts and groups and has many
options designed to make migration easier. It is especially useful when you need
flexibility or have time constraints you need to work around. It allows you to
export users when it suits you. You are not forced into running all users at the
same time. It is your chose as to whether you export one at a time, small
batches or all users.
Please note: A Lotus Notes or Domino server is not required.
XitNotes is a windows application. It is fast and efficient. It comes as a small
downloadable installation file (under 4MB). You simply run it and install it to
your windows system. You must have Lotus Notes and Outlook installed on the
windows PC you install it to and run it from. It can be run
in 2 modes:

Single user export

Multiple user export
Single user mode In single export
mode you export a single user at a time. It will read the settings on the PC for
Lotus Notes and Outlook and set the defaults based on those settings. You may
change them if needed. Multiple user export
In multiple user export mode (as known as multi-database mode) you may export
multiple users in unattended batch mode. A license is required for each users
data you export. Please see licensing for details. In this mode if you choose to
create PST files they are automatically created for you based on the settings
you provide. As you select databases through the user interface you get the
chance to also modify your settings in bulk in an easily editable file.
